HOW LAILA CAN HELP
Math Level Assessment
The majority of my students are in the grade levels starting from 3rd grade all the way to college undergraduate.
I also provide support in test preparation for exams. My experience in testing anxiety, ADHD, and dyslexia allow me to share tools on how to overcome these hurdles once and for all.
You can also schedule a one-off session to learn what math level you or your child is at. Together, we will analyze that area and create a plan to improve it. You get a fully customized one-on-one coaching call and walk away with a solid game plan! This call is a minimum of 90 min up to two hours. Click below to learn more.

Now for the fun part! We’ll schedule regular tutoring calls that fit your schedule. Along the way, we’ll assess your progress towards your goals and if any changes need to be made. You have complete flexibility with your tutoring plan! Lessons are $150/hr.

How the Process Works:

On the discovery call, you can share your challenges and goals with me. Together, we will dive deep into the root of the problem and decide if you feel comfortable to have an Ice Breaker Lesson. A time slot of 20 minutes is recommended for this call.
After the initial consultation, we will schedule a one hour lesson. This is what Laila calls an Ice Breaker Lesson where she will assess how she can support you. We’ll also go over the investment along with recommended tutoring methods specific to your goals and needs. A time slot of 90 minutes is recommended for this call, and the cost is $350.

Is it just 1-1 coaching or do YOU offer group coaching?
I only do 1-on-1 math tutoring. Students have plenty of group interaction in the classroom. It is important that the student receives individualized support to really be able to tackle the areas they are struggling in.

Do you offer SAT/ACT EXAM PREP?
Yes, I do offer standardized test prepping. It's one of my biggest passions. I love teaching my students how to pace themselves, and not stress out about the clock. I also tie in my nutrition background to make sure they are eating well and taking care of themselves before a big test.

What if my child hates math?
Well, that's where I come in! I want to find out why they hate math. Where did the gap come along? For each student, we do an assessment of their math levels during the Ice Breaker Lesson. I am able to figure out and understand exactly what their strengths and struggles are. Then after that, I can pin down the problem and why the student might have lost passion for math in the first place. It's important to find this out before we dive into math coaching.

HOW MANY TUTORING SESSIONS DOES MY CHILD GET?
I don’t require a certain number of tutoring sessions. The amount of sessions is very much independent of the students' needs. I have helped students from as short as 1 month for up to over a year. It really depends on their goals and where their math level is in comparison to their level.

DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?
We sign an agreement form that includes my cancellation policy. I require a 24 hour notification of cancellation.
